What a difference a few years can make.

The image on the left was completed years ago. While I loved the concept of the painting I hated how stiff the woman looked. I finally got back to redoing it last year. I am happy with how the new painting turned out.
What do you think?
I like them both. The first demonstrates a bit of trepidation that the woman has. Her environment is a bit darker. She is unsure.
In the second, the fairy woman is bringing more light. She has more confidence. She is emerging.
In both I get a sense of the women taking a secret knowledge.
